Just wanted to thank you and the team for a wonderful job on Saturday 28th August.
Yourself and Richard did a fantastic job in ensuring the smooth running of the day, and I thank you personally for sorting out the chair cover problem...one in a long line of problems in the run up, but when you had to phone me about it I was still not worried as I had faith in your abilities and again I was right to trust you as you sorted it all with out any fuss.
The day unfolded exactly as I had imagined and Richard and his team did a fantastic job of setting up the room and stairs as I'd asked, I couldn’t have done it better myself....and as much as I love that side of things I appreciate that I did not have to do it as it made that element stress free for me. They all worked so hard to turn the room around during the ceremony and after the meal.
The meal was lovely and many people commented how nice it was. The service was excellent, above and beyond basic service, every member of waiting staff seemed to have a smile and appeared to have a great attitude on the day and this was also commented on by our guests.
Richard's management of the catering staff was excellent, he kept me informed about the running times and together we made decisions to make up some lost time that the chair covers had caused, with little inconvenience to guests.
The fireworks were amazing, and well worth the money. As I have said all the staff were brilliant and their friendliness was noted by all guests, even down to the security guard who even offered to help with my baby son so that that Stuart and I could enjoy our night! Again above and beyond basic service. I would like to also mention Wendy from the waiting team who in particular, from the start when we booked the venue, though our visits to the site before and on the day, made us feel very special and added a real personal touch which made the whole experience fantastic.
So a big thank you to you Amy, Richard, Wendy and the catering team for providing a wonderfully professional and personalised wedding, for making us feel that no request was too much, and for generally being so welcoming and friendly. We really appreciate it, so did the guest who commented on it and several even said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.
I honestly feel that what I managed to get for our money did it justice and that’s thanks to the hop farm for being great value for money, because the personal touch is something that money cannot buy.
